Although the US closed positive, it closed with hesitant candles as Midterms results roll in.

Global Indexes

S&P 500

The S&P 500 closed with a long-legged small body candle in anticipation of midterms results. It is still touching its 50-day moving average and has not broken away from it.

DAX

The result in the US is not bothering the DAX that broke its 200-day moving average with a bullish shaven top candle.

HANG SENG

With no finality about regulations, the HANG SENG is hesitating with two small body candles next to each other after the rally.

NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks

Albemarle Corporation

Albemarle is attacking top resistance with a 6.8% gain. Notice how its 200-day moving average acted as support after the abc correction. We also had a messy J-Curve halfway through the current rally.

Meta Platforms Inc

We had to show the weekly chart of Meta Platforms, better known as Facebook, to show the full extent of its collapse. Not a share to have with a Trend factor of -55.6.

JSE All Shares

The JSE All Shares is also hesitating just below its 200-day moving average with a second hesitation candle. What will happen in the US will also have an influence what will happen here. This is a strong resistance, and it will need lots of steam to break it.
