During intraday trading the S&P 500 dipped below the long-term negative trend line, but as results started streaming in it climbed back to close above it.
DAX
The DAX was still making uncertain candles but did manage to stay above its EMA8 line.
HANG SENG
The HANG SENG took off with a gap this morning after it was closed for a few days.
NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks
Tesla Inc
Tesla stock was top pick at Morgan Stanley ahead of earnings. The share was still trading below its 50-day moving average ahead of earnings, but a positive trend started 2 weeks earlier.
International Business Machines Corp
IBM was still trading negative ahead of earnings on $140 support.

The JSE All Shares was still building on a flag, undecided on direction for a flag break.
