Although Germany had good manufacturing data, it did not give enough momentum to break its strong top resistance. Quite a few markets were still closed yesterday for the Easter Weekend.
Global Indexes
S&P 500
The S&P 500 managed to edge higher just before closing to stay above its EMA8 line.
DAX
The DAX was closed yesterday but managed to stay above its EMA8 line with good manufacturing data. Strong resistance are still above.
HANG SENG
The HANG SENG opened with a gap today to try and break its 50-day resistance. We will have to see if it manages to close above it at the end of the day.
NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks
Advance Micro Devices Inc
Advance Micro Devices made an engulfing bull candle after a short abc correction to gain 3.3% for the day.
Berkshire Hathaway B Inc
Berkshire Hathaway did not manage to edge higher like the index and closed unchanged. No warning signals other than we are in overbought territory.
JSE Stocks
JSE All Shares
The JSE All Shares is still very hesitant below strong resistance above.
Anglo American PLC
Anglo American is busy forming a J-curve against R600 resistance. Its positive trend lines are still in play.
