The S&P 500 stalled with an uncertain doji after mixed results.
DAX
Profit taking stepped in for the DAX after the inverted hammer candle. The index closed below its EMA8 line.
HANG SENG
The HANG SENG made the three classical gaps: Breakaway gap, continuation gap and then an exhaustion gap. After the exhaustion gap profit taking stepped in after a short rally that took it into overbought territory.
NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks
Advanced Micro Devices Inc
Investors approved of Advanced Micro Devices‘s earnings beat and forecast and the share closed above its 50-day moving average. Its MACD is on the verge of breaking up and turning green.
Caterpillar Inc
The market rewarded Caterpillar‘s earnings beat with a 8.9% gap to break top resistance. Frontrunner is predicting more highs to come, the MACD turned green, and its trend factor is back into the top category of dark green.

The JSE All Shares also stalled like most markets in overbought territory.
Growthpoint Properties Ltd
After a small J-curve Growthpoint is continuing its positive trend. It is nearing its last resistance, its 200-day moving average. Its long-term negative trend line is broken and notice the double bottom came with divergence.
