The Israel-Hamas war brought another uncertain element to the markets. The Fed brought some calm to lift the markets after an opening selloff.
Global Indexes
S&P 500
The S&P 500 opened lower and then resumed its positive trend that started on its 200 DMA.
DAX
The DAX was still uncertain just below its EMA8 line with a small body candle.
HANG SENG
The HANG SENG hesitated below its negative trend line and made another gap (continuation?) this morning to blast past its short-term negative trend line. Notice that the MACD turned green.
NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks
Halliburton Company
The war caused Halliburton to reverse the negative trend it started again top resistance with a breakaway gap.
Boeing Co
After a very long leg c correction Boeing is making moves for a turn on long-term support. We have a doji, engulfing bull and a hammer candle next to each other with divergence in place.
JSE Stocks
JSE All Shares
The war made the JSE All Shares very uncertain about direction with a long-legged doji.
Sasol Ltd
The rising oil price gave Sasol a breakaway gap to close just below its 200 DMA.
