Global Indexes
S&P 500
The S&P 500 made a long-legged (longest I have seen for S&P 500) hammer candle against top resistance. This turning candle is unconfirmed although the futures are indicating a turn.
DAX
The DAX is already busy with leg c of its abc correction. Notice that leg b had two hammer candles at the top.
HANG SENG
The HANG SENG also made a hammer candle that was confirmed this morning as a turn.
NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks
Meta Platforms Inc
META’s earnings did not disappoint and the price surged past its 200 DMA resistance with a gap. Notice that Frontrunner is predicting more highs to come with a supporting high volume. Its Trend Factor also turned dark green.
Microsoft Corporation
On the other side of the coin MSFT had excellent earnings, but high AI spending and slowing Azure cloud growth dented investor confidence. The price made a breakaway gap downwards. Notice the high volume.
JSE Stocks
JSE All Shares
The JSE All Shares made an inverted hammer candle, also signaling a possible turn.
DRDGOLD Ltd
DRD made three hammer candles against its top resistance and then started its correction with divergence in place. Notice the high volume trade yesterday. Frontrunner shows the divergence.
