Traditionally May and October are correction months on markets. We had such large corrections that this October we actually had the best gains.
Global Indexes
S&P 500
Although the S&P 500 had some profit taking, it did manage to stay above its 50-day moving average and EMA8 lines.
DAX
Similar for the DAX.
HANG SENG
The HANG SENG blasted off its 14600 level this morning but are still below first resistances. It will need some more fuel to break these resistances.
NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks
Microsoft Corporation
Microsoft was not shown for a while as it is currently such a poor performer. We have a red trend factor of -6 and none of the % indicators are positive.
McDonalds Corporation
In contrast McDonalds, that is also listed on the DOW, is busy breaking a previous high. It is currently very overbought and also taking a breather with a long-legged doji.
JSE Stocks
JSE All Shares
The JSE All Shares is also unsure and hesitating with a small body candle.
Kap Industrial Holdings Ltd
The current rally of Kap is stalled with a piercing candle, Frontrunner breaking down and the MACD changing color.
