The banking sector brought a lot of volatility to markets which only emphasize the current uncertainty. All that was forgotten as most shares listed on the S&P 500 made breakaway gaps.
Global Indexes
S&P 500
The S&P 500 made a breakaway gap and is now touching its last resistance before moving into all positive territory again.
DAX
Similar for the DAX.
HANG SENG
The HANG SENG also made a breakaway gap that broke its EMA8 and 200-day moving average lines. It still has some distance to go to reach its 50-day moving average like the other indexes.
NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks
Tesla Inc
Most of the top trend shares made breakaway gaps. You only need to run Spotlight to find them all. Tesla is one amongst the biggest gainers.
Exxon Mobil Corporation
Exxon Mobil also made a breakaway gap with a bounce on its 200-day moving average.
JSE Stocks
JSE All Shares
The JSE was closed yesterday for a public holiday. After the doji and inverted hammer candle the JSE All Shares confirmed the turn with an engulfing bull candle. Notice that we were in oversold territory with divergence in place. The MACD changed color with this latest move.
Glencore PLC
Glencore was one of the strong movers out of its oversold position. Its doji and long-legged small body candle was confirmed with an engulfing bull candle. Notice where Frontrunner broke up and the MACD changed color.
