This market was closed yesterday.
DAX
After the bounce the DAX dipped below the EMA8 and negative trend lines again. It made however another hammer candle to signal a possible turn. Confirmation is however needed as the energy woes can drive this index lower.
HANG SENG
After dipping below strong support yesterday, the HANG SENG managed to close above it, also with a hammer candle. Today it is making a doji on the support. We will have to wait and see if the support will hold? Confirmation of the turning candles are also needed.
NYSE & NASDAQ Stocks
Berkshire Hathaway B Inc
Although the U.S. markets were closed yesterday, I want to show Berkshire Hathaway as it was mentioned in the news. Not a pretty picture with all negative performance % moves. Notice where the MACD gave the last signal line sell! The MACD indicator worked quite well for this stock.
JSE Stocks
JSE All Shares
With the U.S. closed the JSE All Shares was also hesitant with a doji. Confirmation of a new direction is also on the cards here.
Sasol Limited
Sasol is in a sideways move currently between two strong resistances. After a strong drop and a sideways move, one usually gets another drop out of the sideways band. We will have to wait and see if this is going to happen with Sasol?
